We are an evangelical Christian church and believe the following statements to be true:
The Bible is the inspired word of God, to his people, and represents the ultimate authority in their lives.
There is one, true God who has eternally existed as three persons–Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ, the Son, became flesh through the miraculous virginal conception. He is fully God and fully human, and lived a sinless life. He died for the sins of people, reconciling sinners back to God. He was resurrected from the dead and lives today with the Father.
All humanity is created in the image of God, but has sinned and lives in a state of broken fellowship with God. No person is able to please God through any personal effort.
Salvation is exclusively a work of God’s free grace. God attributes the righteousness of Christ to all who put their faith in the Son alone for salvation.
The Holy Spirit has come into the world to reveal and glorify Christ. He convicts and draws sinners to Christ, imparts new life to them, and indwells them continually.
Jesus Christ is the head of the Church, it is his body. God admonishes his people to assemble together regularly for worship, for participation in the ordinances (baptism and communion), for edification through the Scriptures, and for mutual encouragement.
At physical death the believer enters into eternal and conscious fellowship with the Lord, while the unbeliever enters into eternal and conscious separation from the Lord.
Jesus Christ will return to earth to consummate history and God’s redemptive plan.
